About Devante Senior

Devante Senior was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, and graduated from Wexford Collegiate school for the arts in both their Drama Focus and Musical Theatre program. He is also a dancer, with hip hop, modern, and jazz training. Before starting his acting career, he spent some time at Ryerson University’s dance program and Toronto Dance Theatre. Devante took his first on camera acting classes at LB acting studios in 2018, and continued doing so for a few sessions. In his spare time he loves to dance because it is another form of expression. He also loves to watch TV and films because it is enjoyable and is able to learn a lot by watching other artists at work.

What inspired you to pursue acting?

What inspired me to pursue acting was just my love for art and Performing. Ever since I was young i was always dancing and singing along to Michael Jackson in front of the TV. There isn’t a time in my life I can think of where performing wasn’t involved. I always knew I was happiest whenever I was on a stage or on camera, making people feel something.
